how can i get my little brother to stop playing video games?

my little brother is always on the ps2 playing rachet and clank, or if im playing ps2 he goes on the computer and plays online games. He plays way too much, he already beat all of the rachet and clank games at least 12 times each, and doesn’t get off unless somone forces him off.
i ask him why he always plays the same game, and he gets angry and says “shut up!”. Any ideas?

I think you should try and hide the PS2 somewhere or just the games. If you did that, use the computer and dont let him use it. lol

well, how about taking him out, to the park, teach him new sports, take him to the pool or beach, help him make new friends so that he can distract his mind from playing video games… if hes old enough, maybe a gf would be nice for him too. if this doesn’t =D help google it.

Destroy the ratchet and clank game. Buy him an interesting book and make some sort of deal with him that will get him to actually pick it up. How old is he anyway?

Does it bother you? As long as his grades are not suffering, or it isn’t having negative affects upon his physical health, its really not that big a deal.

maybe u should hide the ps2 before he starts playing or tell ur friends to come sleepover and let ur friend play the computer and u play the ps2 or the opposite.
