I get straight A’s, I have lots of friends, I do sports and I have a really good relationship with my parents. But they want me to do something over the summer instead of just hanging out because they think it’ll help me “grow as a person”–they want me to get a job, or something. They’re worried about me, I can tell, but I want to get them to stop and let me enjoy my summer. How?

Paying state taxes after getting out of military?

I hope i can explain this right for everyone to understand. My fiance just got out of the military in August and was stationed in NC, which his W2 comes from Texas, and according to the tax office he owes over $700 in state taxes because the Military doesnst take out state taxes for some reason. The previous year he was also stationed in NC he didnt pay taxes either and didnt owe any to the state. He has had another job since he has been out of the military and has been paying in NC taxes so that isnt what hurt him. So does anyone have any reasons why he is having to pay state taxes for the time he spent in the military?

You don’t hear African Americans, Middle Eastern, or Asian Americans complaining about these illegals. What it comes down to is that you want to protect your way of life and you don’t want to share. Don’t give me this reverse pyscho babble on how it’s unfair to people who are waiting immigrate the legal and right way. What is fair and right? Was it fair we slaughtered Indians, was it fair we enslaved blacks for 400 years. The blue collar laborer wants to protect his wages because he knows an illegal or an immigrant will do the same job for half the price. Who said its your God given right to make more than another man for doing the same job. If i’m a business owner I don’t care what country you come from or your immigration status, I would just care about who did the best job for the best price. ***** the blue collar laborer, its you fault for not going to college.

my sister is dating a guy whom she used to work with but she already quit that job and now is working in another place which is not nearly close to her previous job and he lives in a different city from us but she keeps picking him and dropping him to work or sometime she lets him take her car. he is very controlling and expects her to do anything he asks for ans sometime i feel like she chooses him over me.

How do you get rid of old traffic tickets(over 4 years old) off of my record in California?

The tickets dont show up on my DMV report but did show up on an background for a job in the criminal section. These offences were both speeding infractions!Any idea on how to expulge these off my record permanently?
