Any one else notice VH1 and MTV play the same programs?

Celebrity Rap Superstar, Rock of Love and maybe a couple of other reality shows play on both VH1 and MTV… are they owned by the same company or come to some kind of deal?
cause i always though they were competing station of course VH1 being more mature and appealing to the mature.

I saw an acoustic performance on VH1 - two girls singing, ending in lyrics ‘yeah yeah yeah’. Any ideas?

They were young girls, acoustic guitars, singing as a ’special’ performance - probably about a year ago in the morning on VH1. The only lyrics I remember is that the song ended in ‘yeah yeah yeah’ - three times. Who are they and what is the song? Thanks!

i was watching jumpstart on vh1 the other day and this song came on that i love but cant remember. it start out with a woman with short hair singing along with a piano. shes wearing a purple dress.
